The Food Network’s TV chef Paula Deen has gotten justice. Her house keeper was sentenced to 18 years in prison and six years of community service. Deen’s housekeeper had been accused of stealing and later confessed to what police believe was about $100,000.00 of stolen jewelry. Mary Alice White pawned $27,500.00 worth of Deen’s jewelery that was stolen over a nine month period.
“Mary White is the most feared and destroying kind of thief you may ever run up against,” Deen said to the judge, going on to add that “Mary was a master at making you think she cares about you … She used our love and kindness against us.”
