American Airlines Worker Arrested Almost a Year After Stealing 1/2 Million in Jewelry from Luggage Claims

An American Airlines worker at a New Mexico airport stole luggage from the baggage claims area which was full unique expensive jewelry. The owner of the luggage is a world renowned jewelry designer who was moving to a new home in New Mexico. The jewelry stolen was estimated to be between $500,000.00 and $800,000.00. A private investigator was hired and brought pictures of the jewelry to the local pawn shops which eventually aided in the arrest of the American Airlines worker almost a year later.
